COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina football players met with reporters on Tuesday morning, to look ahead to Saturday afternoon’s game against Arkansas.
As usual, sophomore quarterback Jake Bentley was the final player to appear before reporters at Williams-Brice Stadium on Tuesday morning.
Coming off last weekend’s loss at Texas A&M, redshirt sophomore running back Ty’Son Williams said execution was the primary issue down the stretch in College Station.
“We’ve just got to execute. … Finish the game,” he said.
That includes the 7 sacks allowed by South Carolina.
“One of them, I missed, too,” Williams said. “That’s not just all on the offensive line. We all have to come together and improve and correct our mistakes. We all know what to do. We’ve been coached well. We’ve got to go out there and do it.”
Fellow redshirt sophomore running back A.J. Turner, who spent two seasons on the same team as David Williams, was recently in touch with the former South Carolina running back, who’s now third in rushing at Arkansas.
