4-star center Bryan Penn-Johnson commits to Washington

Washington-Bryan Penn Johnson-2018-commitment

Washington signed three players to the 2018 recruiting class in November, starting the process to replenish a roster that loses at least two seniors and potentially other players who might turn pro. And now the Huskies have picked up a fourth prospect with the commitment of 4-star center Bryan Penn-Johnson.

The 7-foot, 215-pound Penn-Johnson is rated by 247Sports as the No. 98 player in the country and the seventh-best center. He’s the top-ranked player from Utah and picked Washington over DePaul.

Washington’s three signees are 4-star small forward Jamal Bey, 4-star point guard Elijah Hardy and 3-star center Nate Roberts. It also has a commitment from 3-star small forward Ed Chang, who pledged to the Huskies in July, but he has yet to sign.
