The Iowa State Cyclones remain in the mix with one of their top remaining basketball targets, as Talen Horton-Tucker named Steve Prohm’s program in his final seven on Saturday.
Joining the Cyclones as finalists entering Horton-Tucker’s senior season is Ohio State, Georgetown, Illinois, Xavier, Georgia Tech and Saint Louis.

A 4-star small forward, Horton-Tucker has compiled 19 offers to date and his latest cut left notables such as Kansas, Michigan State, Florida State and DePaul out of the mix going forward, among others.
The 6-foot-5, 210-pound wing out of the historic Simeon High School (Chicago, Ill.), Horton-Tucker is just one of three uncommitted small forwards holding an Iowa State offer, and the most likely addition at this point.
To date, Prohm’s 2018 class is without a pledge on the wing, as only 4-star power forward Zion Griffin and 3-star point guard Tyrese Haliburton have committed thus far.
Horton-Tucker is ranked as the nation’s No. 108 player, No. 28 small forward, and the No. 4 player in Illinois, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
