Alabama’s convincing 66-3 victory over Ole Miss was plenty to convince voters that they should stay on top of the Super 16 poll.

The Crimson Tide received 36 of 48 first place votes, well ahead of Clemson which received just 11.

  • Georgia is up three spots to No. 5 after a convincing shutout of Tennessee in Knoxville.
  • Auburn also jumped up two slots to No. 12 after taking down Dan Mullen and Mississippi State 49-10 in a statement game.
  • After falling to Michigan in week 1, Florida has rallied and received 12 votes but wasn’t ranked. The Gators took care of Vanderbilt and host LSU at home next week when SEC Nation comes to town.
