One of the nation’s top recruits is headed to Syracuse.

Jalen Carey, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound point guard from New York City, N.Y., announced his commitment to coach Jim Boeheim and the Orange late Wednesday afternoon:

According to 247Sports, Carey is considered a four-star prospect and the No. 54 overall recruit from the 2018 recruiting class. With over 25 total offers, he selected Syracuse over UConn, Miami and Villanova.

Judging by his highlights, he should have a bright future playing for the Orange in the ACC:

With the addition of Carey, Syracuse’s 2018 class now ranks No. 8 in the nation.
