TBS really used Matt Haarms ‘hair adjustments’ as a stat in Purdue-Texas Tech

Purdue is playing Texas Tech in the Sweet 16 in its second straight game without starting center Isaac Haas. If you’re heard of Haas’ replacement, Matt Haarms, you’ve probably been made aware of his hair.

Haarms has the hairstyle you’d see more commonly on a European soccer player, and it’s become a meme during the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The TBS broadcast on Friday night is well aware:

Having more hair adjustments than points is not a great thing, but Haarms changed that with a bucket in the second half.
