The TCU Horned Frogs keep moving up in the rankings, climbing to No. 8 in the latest edition of the Associated Press Top 25.
Despite coming off of a bye week, Gary Patterson’s Horned Frogs enjoyed a slight rise in the rankings. They were ranked No. 9 in the AP poll last week. The Frogs also moved one spot in the Amway Coaches’ poll to No. 10.
Sitting at 4-0 on the season, TCU has displayed an impressive blend of offensive versatility and defensive dominance and as a result, the Horned Frogs have outscored their opponents 191-74 thus far.
Such a convincing edge can be credited to the Horned Frog having won each of their four games quite handily with the closest margin of margin over victory coming by 13 points over then-No. 6 Oklahoma State in Stillwater. More notably, both of TCU’s Power 5 wins this season — Arkansas and Oklahoma State — have come on the road.
Next up, TCU will return home for its second ranked showdown in as many appearances with No. ?? West Virginia coming to Fort Worth on Oct. 7.
