The Horned Frogs’ opened as 13-point favorites over the Mountaineers in Week 6, according to OddsShark. TCU is 4-0 this season and has won each of its games so far by at least 13 points.
It’s a high-profile matchup, with ESPN College GameDay coming to campus. It’s also the only matchup between ranked teams in Week 6. TCU comes into the game ranked No. 8 in the country in Associated Press Top 25. West Virginia is No. 23 in the rankings.
TCU is 3-2 against West Virginia since both teams joined the Big 12 in 2012. The first three of those matchups were each decided by 3 points or less and came down to the final possession.
However, the last two games between these two programs have been more lopsided.
TCU won the last meeting in Fort Worth 40-10 in 2015. West Virginia took last year’s matchup 34-10 in Morgantown.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on FS1.
