Texas Tech football opened as a 14 1/2-point favorite on Sunday for the team’s Week 6 contest at Kansas.
The Red Raiders (3-1), are looking to rebound from a 41-34 loss at home to Oklahoma State (4-1) as they head to Lawrence, Kan. to take on the Jayhawks.
History is on Texas Tech’s side entering the contest against 1-3 Kansas. The Jayhawks have not defeated the Red Raiders since 2001. It was all Texas Tech in the 2015 meeting between the two teams, as the Red Raiders defeated the Jayhawks 55-19 in Lubbock.
Kansas has lost its last three games each this season by double digits – most recently losing to West Virginia in Week 4, 56-34.
Kickoff for the Texas Tech-Kansas game is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT on Oct. 7 at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kan. The game will be televised on FOX Sports 1.
