TCU beat out LSU for the No. 1 quarterback in Louisiana, 4-star Justin Rogers. After the Tigers were upset by Troy 24-21 on Saturday, their chances at flipping Rogers might have gotten slimmer.

During the loss, LSU students chanted “We suck!” during the loss, and Rogers took notice.

Rogers committed to the Frogs over the Tigers in May, but LSU’s coaches have still been pushing for him. There have been predictions that he could flip to the Tigers late in the process.

However, Rogers’ relationship with TCU quarterbacks coach Sonny Cumbie is still strong. And if LSU fans are turning on their team that quickly, that can’t play in the Tigers’ favor. Rogers confirmed as much.

Rogers’ senior season was cut short by a major knee injury. However, he is expected to enroll early at TCU this January.

The TCU commit is the No. 28 overall prospect and the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the country for 2018, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
