Oklahoma point guard Trae Young plans to sign with an agent and enter the 2018 NBA Draft, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, bringing his collegiate career to a close.
College basketball players are allowed to return to school after declaring for the draft as long as they don’t hire an agent. By signing with an agent, Young would end any possibility of returning to Oklahoma for a sophomore season.
Young led the nation in points (27.4) and assists (8.7) per game this season and was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Year.
