USC sorely missed Ronald Jones last week in a 30-20 win at California, averaging only 3.5 yards per carry as the junior sat out with a bruised thigh.
With Jones back in the backfield against Washington State it meant the Trojans had their full assortment of rushing options. It also meant we got to see Jones show off his breakaway speed on an 86-yard touchdown run.

Jones’ run put USC up 14-10 with 11:25 left in the first quarter and put him over 100 yards rushing for the third time this season and eighth time in his career.
