USC Trojans refuse to watch NCAA Tournament

This year’s NCAA Tournament has been nothing short of thrilling. There has been an unprecedented amount of upsets. The USC Trojans have missed it all.

After being snubbed from the NCAA Tournament, USC players are boycotting the madness of March.

“When you don’t get selected, you don’t feel like watching it at all,” sophomore guard Jonah Mathews said, per Joey Kaufman of the Orange Country Register.

Selection Sunday was devastating for USC. The Trojans saw 36 teams get at-large bids to the tournament and none of selections were them.

Call it petty or simply a loss of interest but USC isn’t paying any attention to an upset-riddled NCAA Tournament.

“I can’t care less who wins,” forward Nick Rakocevic said.

While the NCAA Tournament continues on to the Sweet 16, USC is pushing forward NIT. The Trojans take on Western Kentucky at 8:30 p.m. PT at the Galen Center.
