Virginia Tech stuns No. 2 Virginia for road upset

Kerry Blackshear Jr.’s go-ahead layup with eight seconds remaining in overtime lifted Virginia Tech to a shocking 61-60 victory over No. 2 Virginia.

Virginia Tech guard Justin Robinson scored a game-high 20 points along with seven assists.

Virginia’s Ty Jerome sent the game into overtime with a jumper with 12 seconds left in the second half.

With the loss, Virginia drops to 23-2 overall and 12-1 in ACC play. With the victory, Virginia Tech improves to 18-7 overall and 7-5 in ACC play.
