WATCH: Collin Johnson hauls in insane catch during spring practice

Good lord, Collin Johnson, maybe save some of these catches for the regular season.

During a spring practice for the Texas Longhorns, Johnson hauled in an absolutely unbelievable catch over cornerback Anthony Cook. The rising sophomore one-handed a ball while falling away from his defender near the sideline.

Take a look at the play and marvel at Johnson’s athleticism:

Now that’s a highlight-reel catch for the ages.

Johnson, a 6-foot-6 receiver with all the length in the world, finished last year with 765 yards and 2 touchdowns on 54 catches. His best game was definitely against USC, when he had 7 catches for 191 yards.

While he had some impressive statlines last year, this catch might be the single most impressive thing he’s done in a Longhorns uniform. And regardless of whether Shane Buechele or Sam Ehlinger starts at quarterback for Texas next year, they’ll know that Johnson can go up and get any ball thrown his way.
