The 2017 season is still young, but Florida has already benefitted from a Hail Mary, uncovered wide receivers and now a deflected pass on what should have been an interception.
Late in the third quarter against Vanderbilt, Feleipe Franks threw an off-target pass into the red zone and, instead of an interception, was rewarded with a deflection and a catch by Freddie Swain.

Lamical Perine eventually finished the drive with a 1-yard touchdown run, giving the Gators a 31-17 lead early in the fourth quarter.
