Comedian Kevin Hart is currently hosting a YouTube series titled “Cold As Balls,” in which he interviews an athlete while the two take ice-water baths. And, as expected, hilarity ensues.
This week, Hart’s guest was an athlete that Kentucky basketball fans should be quite familiar with — former Wildcats standout Nerlens Noel.
Noel played one season at Kentucky in 2012-13. He was then selected with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, later getting traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on draft night. Last season, the 76ers traded Noel to the Dallas Mavericks, his current team.
Hart asked Noel about a variety of topics, including if he would consider himself a Kentucky legend.
“I definitely feel like I’m one of the legends, one of the alpha-dogs that came through there,” Noel told Hart.
Hart responded by jokingly saying he was once recruited by the Wildcats, and had it not been for his comedy career, he also would have played at Kentucky.
Noel also discusses which player he models himself after, some of his former teammates and more details of his personal life. And there are certainly some hilarious moments throughout.
