Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen may have recorded the play of the night across all sports on Monday.
The former Longhorn threw down a vicious dunk during the third quarter vs. the Chicago Bulls at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. — one that is surely bound to make highlight reels for the remainder of the season.

Allen played at Texas during the 2016-17 season. He averaged 13.4 points and 8.4 rebounds a game as a freshman before declaring for the NBA Draft as a “one-and-done.” He was selected by Brooklyn as the No. 22 overall pick.
Allen is currently averaging 7.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game as a rookie with the Nets. And at 6-foot-11, that won’t be the last time that we see him put an opponent on a poster.
