The play began with a steal and a deft no-look pass before Zhaire finished the job at the rim.
The Red Raiders are firing on all cylinders, and should they finish off the win over Kansas State, they’ll lead the Big 12. Texas Tech has seen a massive turnaround under Chris Beard, who is looking like a legendary head coach in just his second year at the helm
Texas Tech is 20-4 overall and 8-3 in conference play, and still have three massive games on the schedule. Later in February, the Red Raiders will have to take on Oklahoma and Kansas at home, and then travel to Morgantown to play Jevon Carter and the West Virginia Mountaineers. The potential to slip is there, but as of now, Texas Tech is on fire.
