It didn’t take long for former Alabama tight end O.J. Howard to make an impact in the NFL.
Howard hauled in his first career touchdown pass in the first quarter of the Buccaneers game against the New Giants to give Tampa Bay a 13-0 lead. It was a 58-yard touchdown.

Howard was taken in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft by the Buccaneers after a stellar career at Alabama. Coming into today’s game, Howard had just 2 catches for 29 yards in his first two games.
Alabama meanwhile is having no issues without Howard, as the Crimson Tide have won their last two games 125-3. Alabama takes on Texas A&M this Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
