North Carolina Tar Heels-North Carolina basketball-Seventh Woods

North Carolina sophomore point guard Seventh Woods is a talented basketball player. That much is known.

Woods, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound combo prospect and former four-star recruit from Columbia, S.C., posted a video to Instagram that has received close to 40,000 views and for good reason: what he did was pretty awesome (and really, really hard to do for those who aren’t nearly as functional when it comes to putting a ball through a hoop).

He nailed a full court shot. Backwards.

Woods might be giving Tar Heel fans a small glimpse into the future as to what he’s capable of doing with the ball and the level of his athleticism. Projected to earn the backup role to senior Joel Berry, he also posted a video last week of him connecting on a downright dirty windmill dunk.

UNC started practice for the 2017-18 season on Oct. 2, and it will take the court for the first time at Late Night with Roy on Oct. 13 in the Smith Center.
