WATCH: Texas Tech ready to step into the Octagon with Kansas State

Texas Tech certainly has momentum on its side as of late.

Currently riding a five-game winning streak, the Red Raiders are now 20-4 on the season and ranked No. 7 nationally as the headliner of the Big 12.

Not surprisingly, Texas Tech is hyped about the opportunity to step into the Octagon of Doom on Saturday night for a few rounds with Kansas State.

During their Jan. 6 meeting, it was the Red Raiders that came out on top with a 74-58 victory.

Home-court advantage has been good to Kansas State throughout the past month, though, with the Wildcats notching ranked wins over then-No. 4 Oklahoma on Jan. 16 and then-No. 24 TCU on Jan. 20. The hope for the red-hot Red Raiders is to avoid becoming that third ranked win on K-State’s schedule in less than a month.

Texas Tech and Kansas State will square off at 8 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
