It was a tale of two halves for Washington Saturday vs. Oregon State. After struggling in the first frame with only 7 points, the Huskies exploded for 35 second-half points en route to a 42-7 victory.
Dante Pettis led the way with 12 catches for 105 yards and 3 TDs, all of which came in the second half. Myles Gaskin added 113 rushing yards and a TD, and the defense allowed 184 total yards, and only yieled a score late in the 4th quarter when the starters were out of the game.
Chris Petersen was no doubt happy with what he saw in the first half, but has to be pleased with how his team responded.
