What Dabo Swinney said after Clemson’s win at Virginia Tech

The No. 2 Clemson Tigers passed another tough road test on Saturday night against Virginia Tech, using a quick start and strong defensive effort to earn a 31-17 victory.

Quarterback Kelly Bryant went 12 of 21 with 186 yards and a touchdown, but his real impact came on the ground. Bryant led the Tigers with 94 rushing yards.

But once again, the Clemson defense shined. The Tigers held the Hokies to just 3.2 yards per rush and forced three takeaways, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

With the victory, Clemson is the first team ever to post three top-15 victories in the month of September. Here’s what Tigers coach Dabo Swinney said after his team’s big victory:
