The men’s soccer team, ranked No. 20 in the country, got a dramatic 2-1 win at Penn State Sunday on a Jack Hallahan goal with 37 seconds left to play in the second overtime. The Wolverines ( 6-3-2) host Rutgers on Friday.

Volleyball sweeps

A program-record crowd of 8,137 watched Michigan’s volleyball team beat Ohio State 3-1 last Friday and t he Wolverines duplicated the 4-set victory against Maryland  on Saturday to improve to 12-4 on the season.

Senior middle blocker Claire Keiffer-Wright was honored by the Big Ten on Monday for her part in the weekend sweep.
