Zach Crabtree was hurt, and expected to not play against Texas Tech.
According to Scott Wright of The Oklahoman, he played every single offensive snap on Saturday.
Crabtree said, “If you want something, it’s gonna be painful. It’s not a problem fighting through something like this when you’ve got great guys around you — guys you care about, guys you love and guys you’ve been through stuff with — to really dig deep and go get ‘em.”
Crabtree is one of the leaders of this Oklahoma State team, and his health is absolutely critical to their success. He’ll need to be not just healthy enough to play, but able to walk without a boot for the season ahead.
The Cowboys have a bye week that they can use to get healthy, and then they’ll have a game against the struggling Baylor Bears. Oklahoma State is going to have all the time in the world to get healthy again, and they would be wise to use every second they have.
