Texas Tech’s freshman guard Zhaire Smith has been the talk of the NCAA Tournament, thanks to his earth-shattering dunks and athletic prowess.

The Ringer’s Shaker Samman bestowed another accolade on the youngster.

Samman writes: “But if a Tech run means that Zhaire Smith will be on every television set in the country, disrespecting gravity, then sign me up. So what’s at stake for the Red Raiders? A nation’s morale. The most fun player remaining in the tournament plays for Texas Tech.”

Smith isn’t new to the Red Raider faithful, who have been watching him pull off incredible plays all year. It was Smith’s alley-oop from Keenan Evans that introduced him to the world.

Shortly after in the next round of the NCAA Tournament, Smith did it again, this time against the Florida Gators.

Smith’s next chance to defy the laws of physics and gravity themselves will come against the Purdue Boilermakers on Friday, March 23 at 8:57 P.M. Central Time.
