Dalton Foundation raises $220,000 to “pass on”

The Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation held its inaugural “Night To Pass It On” event Friday night at Music Hall, with the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback and his wife raising nearly a quarter of a million dollars.

Proceeds from the event, which replaced the foundation’s Celebrity Waiter Night, will fund the foundation’s five programs that provide support, resources and unique experiences to seriously ill and physically challenged children and their families.

“JJ and I feel so fortunate to have this platform and to be able to give back to these families in a bigger way,” Andy Dalton said. “To shift the focus from celebrity appeal to the families that have been impacted is huge for us. We’re thankful for the tremendous amount of support to be able to do that and really show what the Foundation has grown to become.”

The new event recognized families who have received grants from the foundation’s Pass It On Fund. Three families were presented the Courage Award, the Inspiration Award and the Spirit Award.
