According to GwinnettPrepSports.com, Sissoko came to the United States to earn a basketball scholarship and enrolled at Lincoln Academy for his junior and senior seasons.

Sissoko fills one of two scholarships open in 2019 for Dayton. The Flyers left one open for 2018 and have another one opening with the departure of Josh Cunningham after the 2018-19 season.

Dayton’s last two new recruits have been centers. Jordy Tshimanga, a 6-11 transfer from Nebraska, joined Dayton’s roster in the summer. He’ll sit out this season and debut next season.
