“I believe it is time to start the next chapter in my journey,” Toppin said in the video published to his Twitter page. “I would like to share the news with you guys that I will be signing with an agent and forgoing my college eligibility by entering my name into the 2020 NBA draft.”

Toppin has been awarded numerous honors in the postseason, including national player of the year by The Associated Press, CBS Sports, and several other outlets.
He led the Flyers to a 29-2 record, a program-best for wins in a season even without playing any postseason games due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Last week, Toppin was named the only unanimous Associated Press First Team All-American, the first in program history to be named to the first team.
He ends his Dayton career with 1,096 points, good for 39th in program history and the program-record for dunks with 190.
