âI knew I was going to be cleared,â said Eifert, who is returning from back surgery. âEven before I saw the doctor, I knew Iâd get cleared. I was like why are you wasting my time with this appointment?â

While Eifert is 100 percent, saying he has been for a month and a half to two months, Ross will be easing his way into action after sitting out all of the offseason drills due to the labrum surgery he had after the Combine.
But Ross said heâll be running routes and participating in some 11-on-11 drills this afternoon.

âIâm definitely excited just because itâs been so long for me,â Ross said. âWhen you have to watch, itâs harder to be excited and be in tune with things when youâre not doing anything. Now I get to be a part of it.â
Thereâs still no word on running back Giovani Bernard, who tore his ACL on Nov. 20. Bernard made a quick pass through the locker room without stopping to talk to reporters.
Weâll find out his status at 3 p.m. when the team hits the field for practice.
