Flyer Pep Band, Rudy Flyer making most of their time in New York City

Four A-10 tournament quarterfinal games being held Friday in Brookly

Willie Morris, the longtime director of the pep band, got some face time on the Today Show as a “Let’s Go Flyers!” chant broke out in the crowd.

“The Dayton Flyers are right here,” Morris said as the band cheered behind him.

Rudy Flyer appeared with the other A-10 mascots on Friday morning at the Nasdaq stock exchange, ringing the opening bell to start the day of trading. Earlier in the week, Rudy participated in a mascot dunk contest for “The Tonight Show.”
