Broncos congratulate Colorado Rockies on first playoff appearance since 2009

Denver Broncos-Colorado Rockies-playoffs

The Denver Broncos made sure to show some love to the Colorado Rockies.

The Rockies’ Saturday game against the Los Angeles Dodgers is just getting underway, but they already know their playoff fate. With the Milwaukee Brewers’ loss to the St. Louis Cardinals, the Rockies clinched their first playoff berth since 2009.

The Broncos took some time to make a video and congratulate the Rockies, including outside linebacker Von Miller and quarterback Trevor Siemian.

Denver sports fans could be in for a memorable 2017. Simply by being in the playoffs, the Rockies have a legitimate chance to win the World Series, and the Broncos are one of the better teams in the NFL.

That should be enough to make up for tough seasons from the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche.
