Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller is a man of many talents.
Along with being one of the best defensive players in the NFL, he is also great dancer and also raises chickens. Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders is also now raising chickens, but his birds are not getting along. Sanders asked Miller for some advice, and he knew what was wrong immediately.
“The roosters, it has to be a great ratio,” Miller said on NFL Network. “You can’t really have too many roosters or it’ll be tension in there. You gotta have about nine to 10 hens per rooster. So if you got 14 birds in there and you got three roosters, it’s gonna be trouble in the coop.”
For those who don’t watch Seinfeld, the rooster is the male and the hen is the female.
It is well known that Miller has a lot of chickens, but few probably know that he is that much of an expert. There are plenty of car mechanics that can’t tell you definitively what’s wrong with your car after a diagnostic, but he answered Sanders in an instant.
There are several NFL quarterbacks who wish that Miller would use that expertise on full-time basis.
