Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant missed the last two days of practice during the week, but he’ll be in the lineup on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens for Week 4.
Bryant was bitten by a stomach bug during the week, but he told ESPN.com’s Dan Graziano that he feels great.
After missing all of the 2016 season while suspended, Bryant was reinstated prior to the start of the 2017 season. However, he’s struggled to reestablish a connection with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Through three games, Bryant has 7 receptions for 135 yards and a score. He’s averaging a career-low 45 yards receiving per game at this point, and both Roethlisberger and Bryant have admitted that rust has been a factor.
And Bryant’s absence during practice this week likely didn’t aid those efforts for the two players to come together. So it’ll be interesting to see how that dynamic might work on Sunday as the Steelers take on the Ravens.
