Linkous passes milestone, leads Tri-Village in rout

Tri-Village defeated Tri-County North 110-33 to remain unbeaten in boys basketball Friday night.

Colton Linkous poured in 30 points, passing the 1,000 point milestone for his career, and Damion Cook added 28 for the Patriots (13-0).

Fairmont 65, Beavercreek 51: Kei’Vante Tanner posted 28 points with 17 rebounds for Fairmont (11-2). Jackson Back tallied 15 points for Beavercreek (5-10).

Springfield 65, Northmont 62: Dae’Shawn Jackson hit a 3-point basket at the buzzer to lift Springfield (8-5) over Northmont (6-7). Jackson finished with 13 points and Darius Harper added 15 for the Wildcats. Ben Mangen had 18 points in a losing effort.

Springboro 69, Lebanon 51: Bryce Crosen led Springboro (6-9) with 21 points and Drew Holweger added 15. Lebanon (7-6), led by Matt Russell with 12 points, hit 12 3-pointers.

Miamisburg 67, West Carrollton 61: Adam Giles led Miamisburg (7-7) with 21 points and Josh Baker added 15. Alex Craig scored 28 points for West Carrollton (3-10).

Greenville 64, Sidney 39: Clay Guillozet tallied 29 points and Aaron Balsbaugh pulled down 11 rebounds for Greenville (10-2).

Trotwood 89, Vandalia 53: Andre Foster led Trotwood (7-5) with 26 points and DeLaquan McGuire added 14. Nnaemaka Anene had 15 points for Vandalia (1-11).

Kenton Ridge 65, Tippecanoe 63, OT: Jordan Bailey had 21 points and Caleb King added 19 for Kenton Ridge (8-4). Jakob Prall tallied 19 for Tippecanoe (2-12).

Urbana 59, Graham 40: Cameron Logwood led Urbana (13-1) with 25 points.

Franklin 103, Bellbrook 49: Luke Kennard tallied 28 points and Evan Crowe added 24 for Franklin (14-1), which hit 19 3-pointers in the rout.

Dixie 62, Preble Shawnee 43: Cody Grubb paced Dixie (4-12) with 26 points.

Northridge 102, Waynesville 67: Averon Ely Jr. scored 23 points and Austin McLaughlin added 15 for Northridge (12-2).

Carlisle 39, Madison 33: Daulton Butler paced Carlisle (12-2) with 15 points. Owen Palmer led Madison (9-4) with 14.

Roger Bacon 67, Alter 52: Dean Lemon led Alter (7-9) with 15 points.

Miami East 44, Bethel 43: Nick Beard made two foul shots with 2.6 seconds to play to give Miami East (12-1) the win. Evan Hawthorn had 13 points and 13 rebounds for Bethel (10-5).

Troy Christian 79, Emmanuel Christian 29: Grant Zawadzki paced Troy Christian (12-2) with 27 points.

Dayton Christian 74, Middletown Christian 66, 3OT: Michael Orme scored 21 points and Dayton Christian shut out Middletown Christian in the final overtime.

Fort Loramie 79, Fairlawn 66: Grant Olberding tallied 23 points with 9 rebounds for Fort Loramie (10-4). Nathan Lessing scored 24 points in a losing effort.

Versailles 71, Fort Recovery 41: Kyle Ahrens poured in 33 points, including shooting 9-of-10 from the foul line, for Versailles (11-2).

New Bremen 50, Minster 45: Carson Manger led New Bremen (8-5) with 24 points, going over the 1,000 point mark for his career.
