NFL Draft: Cleveland Browns add 3 more players on Day 2

The Browns added Miami (Fla.) defensive end Chad Thomas with the third pick of the third round (67th overall).

A four-year player and three-year starter for the Hurricanes, Thomas had 11 sacks and 26 tackles for loss.

He’s also a music prodigy who has produced for Rick Ross.

Update, 7:20 p.m.

The Browns picked Georgia running back Nick Chubb with the third pick of the second round (35th overall).

The 5-foot-10, 227-pound Chubb rushed for 4,769 yards and 44 touchdowns in college.

After a season-ending knee injury as a sophomore, he returned as a junior and ran for 1,130 yards and then put up 1,345 last year in leading Georgia to the College Football Playoff.

The Cleveland Browns kicked off Day 2 of the NFL Draft by taking offensive lineman Austin Corbett with the first pick of the second (33rd overall).

The 6-foot-4, 306-pound Corbett played tackle at Nevada but is projected as an interior lineman in the NFL.

Thursday night the Browns drafted quarterback Baker Mayfield first overall and took Ohio State cornerback Denzel Ward with the No. 4 pick.
