"I apologize to those I offended, along with all of the members of Wisconsin’s marching band."

That’s the statement from Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola after he was roasted for consistently trash talking the band during the Green Bay Packer 22-9 whipping of the Lions on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

The Detroit Free Press reports Raiola ragged on the tuba players calling them fat.

But he went much further when he lashed out with homophobic slurs against a trumpet player and threatened to sexually assault the band member’s sister with the same trumpet.

Raiola, who has been fined for similar behavior twice before admitted "my interaction with the Wisconsin marching band was inappropriate."

In the apology Raiola confirmed he will make "a significant" donation to the band.

Lion’s president Tom Lewand also released a statement saying "due to Dominic’s sincere and appropriate response, there will be no additional disciplinary action by the team."
