OSU Football Player Enters Plea To Shoplifting

An Ohio State football player accused of shoplifting from a local mall, pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday.

Buckeye defensive end Nathan Williams is accused of stealing three shirts valued at $80 from the Macy's store at Fairfield Commons Mall.

Williams told police that he was with a friend when the alarm went off as they left the store, and it was the friend who had stolen the shirts.

Williams said he agreed to take the blame.

If convicted, he could get up to six months in jail.
