Reds send down rookie pitcher

The Cincinnati Reds today roptioned rookie Sal Romano to Triple-A Lousivlle and recalled pitcher Lisalverto Bonilla to replace him.

Romano allowed three hits, walked four and allowed two earned runs in his Major League debut Sunday — a 4-2 loss — vs. the Brewers

The Reds claimed Bonilla off waivers from the Pirates in February. He is 2-0 with a 5.56 ERA in two starts with Louisville this season.
