HS Results 12/23: Davis passes milestone in Trotwood win

Amari Davis reached a personal milestone and the Trotwood boys basketball team rolled to a 108-69 win on the road against Bowman Academy (Ind.) on Saturday.

Davis poured in 38 points, passing the 1,000 career point mark in his junior season.

Trotwood improved to 5-1 overall. It also marked the fourth straight game that Trotwood eclipsed the century mark in points.

Boys Basketball

Lebanon 47, Anderson 35: Lebanon bounced back after taking the first loss of the season Friday. Zach Huffman led the way with 14 points and Drew Sekerak tacked on 11.

Carlisle 55, Tri-County North 43: Justin Flor scored 22 points to carry Carlisle. Dillon McCullough had 18 for TCN.

West Liberty-Salem 61, Fairlawn 53: Max Eggleston recorded 16 points, Neil Markin 15 and Braden Miller 10 for WLS. Ashton Piper had 15 for Fairlawn.

Botkins 62, Allen East 46: Zane Paul put up 21 points, Tyler Free 17 and Spencer Heuker 12 to lead Botkins.

Fort Loramie 65, St. Henry 44: Dillon Braun led Loramie with 21 points and Tyler Siegel added 18. Ryan Luttmer paced St. Henry with 21.

Fort Recovery 52, Ansonia 43: Payton Jutte tallied 13 points and Ryan Braun 12 to help Fort Recovery record win No. 900.

Coldwater 80, Greenville 47: Jacob Wenning carried Coldwater with 19 points and Cole Frilling and Marcus Bruns added 13 apiece.

Girls Basketball

Beavercreek 60, Lakota East 24: Carmen Williams led a balanced attack for Beavercreek with 12 points. Jordan Stanley scored 11 for East.

Fairborn 40, Bay Village 35: Chloe Johnson scored 12 points and Evelyn Oktavec 11 for Fairborn.

Hamilton 56, Northwest 51: Kira Ash put in 21 points and CiCi Riggins had 17 points with 13 rebounds to lead Hamilton.

Oakwood 57, Butler 46: Lauren Hapgood and Marge Conrath recorded 17 points apiece, a career high for the freshman Conrath, to lead Oakwood. Willow Knight had 17 for Butler.

Miami East 40, Troy 23: Jordan Short tallied 10 points in a losing effort for Troy.

Versailles 48, Fort Loramie 31: Danielle Winner scored 12 points and Elizabeth Ording 11 for Versailles.
