Badin beat Ross 6-5 on Saturday, with Caitlyn Smith bringing in the tying and winning runs with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Smith went 2-for-4 with a double and Sydney Feenstra added two doubles with one RBI to lead Badin.
Emily Poling and Ashley Shelton each had three hits for Ross.

Arcanum 13, Dixie 1: Cory Ross and Logan Stastny doubled and drove in two runs apiece and Carver Gostomosky recorded three hits for Arcanum in game one of a doubleheader with Dixie. Arcanum won the second game 15-5, with Lane Byrne and Ross each driving in two runs.
Centerville 1, Bryan 0: Ben Wesney tossed a complete-game one-hitter for Centerville, which also ended up falling to Defiance 6-2 for a doubleheader split. Thomas Jenkins hit two doubles in the loss for Centerville.
Coldwater 5, Tri-County North 4: After TCN rallied with four runs in the final three innings, Coldwater ended up with the walk-off victory. Jacob Wenning and Zach McKibben each had two hits apiece for Coldwater. Collin Whipp and Dylan Curtin each had three hits with one RBI for TCN.
Dayton Christian 9, Wayne 2: Dayton Christian starter Sam Jackson didn’t give up a hit until there were two outs in the seventh inning, and DC moved ahead early with three runs in the first and third innings. Dylan Bower tallied a pair of steals for DC and Jackson hit a triple.
Mississinawa Valley 16, Fairlawn 4: Trent Collins blasted a three-run homer, Hawk Thomas went 2-for-3 with four RBI and Mississinawa Valley salvaged a split after losing to Fairlawn 7-6 in the first game of a doubleheader.
Softball
Ben Logan 10, Celina 1: Jenn Naragon doubled and scored twice, Lynzee Cronkleton had a triple with two RBI and Grace Deardurff picked up the win on the mound to help Ben Logan improve to 8-0.
Bradford 15, Fort Loramie 5: Bianca Keener tallied three hits, including a double, and drove in three runs to lead Bradford. Emma and Rylee Canan each added two RBI for Bradford.
Fort Loramie 10, Versailles 7: Aleah Frilling finished with four hits and three RBI out of the leadoff spot and Aubrey Baker drilled a home run for Fort Loramie. Lauren Monnin hit a solo shot for Versailles.
Kenton Ridge 6, West Liberty-Salem 5: Jordan Rucker, Paige Williams and Zoey Taylor each went 2-for-4 to help KR rally from an early three-run deficit to win in game one of a doubleheader. Kelsey Day had a home run for WLS.
National Trail 5, Preble Shawnee 4: Madison Hathaway drove in the game-winning run in the 13th inning for National Trail. Gracie Jones had four hits on the day and Davlyn Werner struck out eight over eight innings.
West Liberty-Salem 9, Kenton Ridge 8: Kelsey Day doubled and drove in three, Kayle Henderson went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Kaylah Erwin doubled and brought in one run to help WLS salvage a doubleheader split with Kenton Ridge. Maddy Hall had four hits to lead KR.

MVTCA Coaches Cup Tournament: Springboro (23 points) edged out Centerville (22 points) in the A flight bracket but Centerville finished first in the B flight.
Boys Volleyball
Mason Tri-Match: Chaminade Julienne beat West Clermont 2-0 and Mason 2-1 to go 2-0 on the day. Andrew Barnes tallied 15 kills, A.J. Murray 32 assists and Eric Miller 29 digs with five aces between the two matches.
Middletown Purple Reign Tournament: Edgewood lost to Royalmont 2-1 but rallied with 2-0 wins versus Miamisburg and Taylor to win the silver bracket. Griffin Smith had four blocks with eight kills in the win over Taylor and Jacob Insprucker tallied 16 assists in the win over Miamisburg.
Girls Lacrosse
Miamisburg 18, Marysville 9: Aliana Wells poured in five goals and Emma and Isabella Whitt tacked on three goals apiece to lead the scoring barrage for ‘Burg.
