D-I sectional baseball top seeds, pairings

The high school baseball sectional tournaments begin Monday, May 7.

The higher seeds host first-round and semifinal games. Sectional finals are at predetermined locations. Those winners advance to district finals on Friday, May 18 for Divisions III and IV and Saturday, May 19 for Divisions I and II. Those times and locations are TBA. All games are at 5 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

The following are the top three D-I sectional baseball seeds and bracket pairings.

Division I: 1. Springboro, 2. Beavercreek, 3. Troy.

• Dayton 1 first round, Tue., May 8: Sidney at Fairmont; Stebbins at Tecumseh;

Semifinals, Thu., May 10: Fairmont/Sidney winner at Springboro; Tecumseh/Stebbins winner at Butler.

Final, Thu., May 17: at Northmont.

Dayton 2 first round, Tue., May 8: Belmont at Springfield; Carroll at Piqua.

Semifinals, Thu., May 10: Springfield/Belmont winner at Beavercreek; Piqua/Carroll winner at Centerville.

Final, Thu., May 17: at Xenia.
