Josh Gilkison, a senior-to-be at Springboro High School, won the Ohio Junior Championship on Wednesday.
Gilkison won by one shot with a 144 at Ashland Golf Club, shooting back-to-back 72s to finish ahead of Columbiana's Jared Wilson, Cade Breitenstine of Akron and Ken Keller of Youngstown, who each shot 145.
Luke Wells of Springfield shot 147 t-o finish eighth. Tyler Goecke of Xenia finished 15th with a 150.
Gilikson helped the Panthers to a third-place finish in the Division I state tournament last fall. He finished tied for ninth individually.
