Training camp starts Bengals bid for 6th straight playoff appearance

The Cincinnati Bengals bid for a sixth straight playoff appearance will begin July 29 with the start of training camp, the team announced today.

Family Day is scheduled for Aug. 6 at Paul Brown Stadium. All other training camp practices will take place on the grass fields west of PBS, including joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings on Aug. 10-11. The Bengals and Vikings open the preseason at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 12 at PBS.

The grass fields have bleacher seating for 1,250 fans plus standing room on the sidelines.

Below are the dates of training camp sessions open to the public:

FRIDAY, JULY 29

—Gates open at 2:30 p.m.

—Practice begins at 3 p.m.

SATURDAY, JULY 30

—Gates open at 2:30 p.m.

—Practice begins at 3 p.m.

SUNDAY, JULY 31

—Gates open at 2:30 p.m.

—Practice begins at 3 p.m.

MONDAY, AUG. 1

—Gates open at 2:30 p.m.

—Practice begins at 3 p.m.

TUESDAY, AUG. 2

—Gates open at 2:30 p.m.

—Practice begins at 3 p.m.

THURSDAY, AUG. 4

—Gates open at 2:30 p.m.

—Practice begins at 3 p.m.

FRIDAY, AUG. 5

—Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

—Practice begins at 6 p.m.
