Trotwood-Madison grad Amari Davis continues his scintillating season for the Green Bay men’s basketball team.

Davis on Monday was named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week for the ninth time this season.

Davis tied a career high with 28 points in Green Bay’s 94-90 win over Milwaukee last week. Davis, a 6-foot-3 guard, shot 11 of 15 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line. He averages 16.3 points per game and is shooting 51.9 % from the field.

Davis’ ninth freshman of the week honor is the most in league history.
