Wright State junior Bill Wampler on Monday was named Horizon League Player of the Week.
Wampler, a 6-foot-6 forward, scored a career-high 29 points in the Raiders’ 81-77 win over Northern Kentucky on Friday. He hit 10-of-14 shots from the field, including four 3-pointers. He added a block and steal in 29 minutes off the bench.

Wampler averages 15.0 points per game.
The Raiders, tied with NKU for first in the Horizon League, host Cleveland State on Thursday (7 p.m.) and Youngstown State on Saturday (3 p.m.)
