- Clear and chilly tonight
- Showers possible Tuesday
- Windy with rain Wednesday
StormCenter 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said skies should be clear during the overnight before a few high clouds stream in before sunrise on Monday.
Winds will relax and the air will turn chilly with lows in the upper 30s, lower 40s.
Monday: Expect lots of sunshine to start off a chilly morning. Temperatures will warm quickly with highs expected in the lower 60s.
“This is roughly ten degrees above seasonable norms,” Vrydaghs said.
Some more clouds build in for the second half of the day and into Monday night. It will not be as chilly for an overnight low with temperatures bottoming out in the middle 40s.
Tuesday: Conditions will be partly sunny, breezy and mild. A warm front will lift northward through the area and may spark a few passing showers in the afternoon. The best chance to see showers will be west of I-75 with temperatures reaching the lower to middle 60s.
Wednesday: It will be mostly cloudy and windy with showers arriving. These showers and the increased winds are associated with a cold front crossing the area. A few embedded thunderstorms are possible as the front passes. Wind gusts over 30 mph are likely. The threat for severe weather is low, but is one that will be monitored closely in the coming days. Temperatures will reach in the middle 60s ahead of the front.
Thursday: It will be cooler with sun and a few clouds, but still a bit breezy with highs in the middle 50s.
Friday: Areas of patchy frost will start the day as temperatures will be in the lower 30s and fall short of normal for the afternoon with highs in the middle 40s. The upside is high pressure will deliver a dry day with lots of sunshine.
