Partly cloudy, pleasant today; cooler weather expected through end of week

Conditions will be cooler with below normal temperatures through the end of the week.

Today will be partly cloudy and pleasant, with highs around 76 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Clouds will decrease overnight for mostly clear skies by dawn, as temperatures fall to a chilly low around 53 degrees.

Temperatures will be a little higher on Friday, although still below normal for this time of year with a high around 78 degrees.

Friday night will again be cool, with a low around 56 degrees.

On Saturday, it will be mostly sunny, breezy and warmer, with a high around 84 degrees.

The NWS also predicted some breezy winds on Saturday night as temperatures fall to a low around 64 degrees.
