WPAFB Friday Weather: Frost to develop as chilly temperatures continue

A much chillier start to the day is expected with some areas seeing some patchy frost early, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

Skies will be mostly sunny through early afternoon with clouds increasing late in the day. Showers will develop from west to east during the evening, near or shortly after sunset. Highs will be in the middle 50s. It will be cold and wet for area football games with showers tapering off around midnight.

Skies will slowly clear Saturday morning with some patchy frost again possible. Temperatures will start out Saturday back in the upper 30s with highs holding in the lower to middle 50s.
